Kaisee arrived in July of 2003, having suffered from severe neglect (this picture does not show the true poor condition she was in). She is an Arab mare, approximately 21 years old with a sweet disposition, very intelligent, good natured, and very anxious to please.
After about ten months of tender loving care and LOTS of good food, she regained 200 lbs. to her normal weight. At that point, it was time to saddle her up and find out what she knew! And, BOY, did she KNOW!
She was adopted by a family outside of Kansas City, KS. She now lives in the lush, rolling hillsides on the prairies of Kansas with one other pasturemate. They share approximately 25 acres. (Wish I could go live there!) She is happy, useful, and cared for now.
